DRAPER FOLDING SCREENS
The Draper Focal Point Folding Screen
Draper, Inc. is pleased to announce an innovation in modular projection screens for the AV Rental market: The FocalPoint®.
The FocalPoint® is designed for standard and small venues, such as meeting rooms or breakout rooms. The FocalPoint® retains the modular frame construction that makes Draper’s StageScreen® so popular.
With small profile frame segments made of sturdy extruded aluminum, the FocalPoint is extremely rigid and durable, while remaining lightweight. With no hinges, the FocalPoint® is strong, and still features quick and easy assembly. All available sizes of FocalPoint are built from combinations of the same frame segments. Even the legs are constructed using these frame segments. The FocalPoint® ships complete with legs, frame, surface, carrying case and tarp.
AV rental dealers can improve their ROI while easily streamlining inventory with the FocalPoint. You can easily build multiple screen sizes from a common inventory of frame segments, only requiring you purchase separate viewing surfaces for different sizes.
In response to requests from leading AV rental dealers, the Draper StageScreen® is a totally new concept in projection screen design. It is designed specifically to be flown, but can also be used with legs. Either way, it is the strongest and most rigid screen on the market.
The truss system is completely modular. All available sizes of StageScreen® are built from combinations of the same 6 standard color-coded frame sections pictured to the right. Not only does this make screen assembly faster and easier, but if a frame section should ever become damaged you can replace it in seconds without tools.
AV rental dealers can easily streamline their inventory with the StageScreen®. You can change a Multiformat to an NTSC, HDTV, or 16:10 format at minimal cost by exchanging or removing a few frame sections (separate viewing surface required). The return on investment becomes immediately evident when comparing the cost of several sizes of folding truss screens to the StageScreen®. Legs are constructed using the same truss sections as the frame. The StageScreen® ships with frame segments, surface, carrying case and tarp (legs sold separately). New! Dress Kit now available!
Draper is proud to introduce the new standard in portable folding screens. The Ultimate Folding Screen is the first screen manufactured with 100% CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) components and assembly. The tubing is CNC machined; surfaces and borders are CNC cut; even rivet and snap holes are CNC placed. No competitive product meets this standard - and we didn’t stop there.
Couple these advantages with clear anodized 1.25” x .070 wall aluminum tubing and you have the precision and stability that allows Draper to offer the Ultimate Folding Screen in sizes thru 12’ x 12’.
The Draper Ultimate Folding Screen comes packed in Draper’s heavy duty molded polyethylene wheeled carrying case.
Designed for large audience presentations, Draper’s Truss-Style Cinefold’s extra-rigid frames and legs are constructed of parallel sections of 1" (2.5cm) square hard-alloy aluminum tubing, heliarc welded to form a sturdy 6" (15cm) wide truss.
All horizontal hinges on Truss-Style Cinefolds are reinforced by truss frame stiἀeners, which mount across the back of the hinge and are held rigidly in place by eight Handy Cranks. Truss-Style Cinefold is furnished with heavy-duty legs to reinforce against front-to-back movement, and the provided Anti-Sway Stabilizers also prevent side-to-side movement. In addition, all Truss-Style Cinefolds over 25' (762cm) wide feature a special L-Brace which attaches to the back of the frame for added strength.
The Draper Cinefold Projection Screen is a portable screen that sets up quickly without tools and collapses into a compact case with wheels for easy travel or storage. Trainers, presenters, producers, or anyone who takes a show on the road will love the Draper Cinefold.
The Cinefold’s legs are built of 1” square structural aluminum tubing and are color-coded and labeled for easy assembly.
When assembled the bottom of the screen is normally 44” above the floor and adjusts in 6” increments. Hinges are tempered steel and lock positively. Frame, legs, viewing surfaces, or accessories are standardized allowing for easy replacement or additions to the system
